Georgia Lee – AISTD

Teacher / Choreographer
Georgia started dancing at the age of 2 and throughout her childhood competed in hundreds of competitions, winning awards locally and nationally. She also appeared in many professional productions such as “Once in a Lifetime”, “The Wind in the Willows” and “Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat”. She began teaching aged 14 for The Pamela De Waal School of Dance. At 16 she attended Bird College of Performing Arts gaining a diploma in Musical Theatre, her dance teacher qualifications (A.I.S.T.D Ballet, Jazz & Tap, all with Distinction) and was also awarded the Tudor Davies Award for Choreography. In her third year she had the honour of being asked to teach tap to the 1st years and those who found tap a challenge. She also attended a Masterclass with supreme tapper Gregory Hines who offered her a job should she ever be in L.A!
However, she chose to embark (quite literally!) on a life aboard many different Cruise Ships, honing her skills as a dancer, vocalist and choreographer whilst travelling the world. She also works for theatre production company MATPRO and has been their resident choreographer ever since, producing, directing and occasionally appearing in Summer/Xmas seasons in Torquay, Eastbourne and Bournemouth.
In March 2013 she returned to London and began teaching for Wedding Dance UK, teaching couples their first dance. She also finds the time to perform as part of an Abba Tribute Act called “Abalicious”.
